Is the service available only to business owners?

Yes, the service is available only to individual or corporate business owners who have a valid business registration certificate.

Is there a service available for individuals who are not business owners?

Individual overseas remittances can be easily accessed by downloading the GME remittance app. Please note that individual remittances are limited to $5,000 per day and $50,000 per year.

How is the exchange rate applied for overseas payments?

GME BIZ provides real-time exchange rates based on USD and the local currency.
Unlike banks, we do not offer different exchange rates for each business owner; all customers receive the same exchange rate and fees, which are determined by real-time rates for each country and currency.

The total fee for GME BIZ overseas payments is 5,000 KRW, with no additional charges.
However, some banks may impose a receipt fee for payments in local currency.

What are the differences between bank overseas remittance services and GME BIZ overseas payments?

Bank Overseas Remittance Services
Requires a visit to the bank.
Numerous documents must be prepared and submitted for each remittance.
If a proxy visits in the absence of the representative, processing can be slow.
Expensive fees (including remittance fee, intermediary bank fee, telegram fee, and receipt fee).
Slow processing time (average 3-4 days to receive funds via SWIFT).

GME BIZ
No need to visit the bank; service can be used anytime, anywhere.
Simple documentation for each payment, with processing taking less than 5 minutes.
Low fees (total fee of 5,000 KRW, including all costs).
Fast processing time (average remittance time is real-time to within 36 hours).

Question 8

How do I cancel or request a refund for a payment?

Accepted Answer

There are two main scenarios:.

a) Incorrect Recipient Information:
If the recipient information is incorrectly entered due to your mistake, the payment will not be processed, and the funds will return to GME BIZ.In such cases, the payment is automatically canceled,and the remaining amount, excluding the remittance fee and processing costs,will be refunded to your account.

Note : If the funds are returned due to incorrect recipient information after the local bank processes the request, it may  take at least 3-4 days. Please double-check the recipient information before submitting your payment request.

b) Internal Processing Issues:
If the payment is not processed due to an internal issue, you can choose to either proceed with the payment again or  receive a full refund to your account.
Note : In such cases, the refund will be processed on the same day (refund deposits are made once in the morning and once in the afternoon).

**Additional Notice **
The exchange rate applied for re-exchange at the customer's request is the cash buying rate. Therefore, any loss due to exchange rate fluctuations during re-exchange is the customer's responsibility.
